Recent events have compelled me to finalize and make public my personal art policy when it comes to all artwork I have ever created that is available online.

Copyright & Ownership:
All artwork and characters created by me are © Alicia Boros. Any characters drawn that are not of
my creation are copyright to their respective owners and creators. I will state the owners of any
characters drawn by me that I do not own. I reserve the right to use and manipulate my artwork
for the designs of my personal website, or in advertising commissions or trades.

Gift art/Trades/Commissions
The owner of the character that I have drawn gift, trade or commission art for may freely edit all
images created for them. This may include avatars/icons, signatures, Identification images and
print out the art as long as no profit is made. Making prints for profit is not permitted.
I hold the copyright to the artwork. The creator/owner of the character has copyright to their
respective characters. If you are unsure if you’ve done a trade with me, chances are you haven’t.

Saving artwork/Prints:
You may save my artwork to your computer's hard disk as well as distribute the images via e-mail
or instant messaging program. All artwork must remain in the original form that I uploaded it as
and must not be modified in any way. Do not save my artwork to an online album for the purpose
of storage or collecting furry artwork or linking to my images.
My artwork may also be printed out for the use of hanging on bedroom walls however no profit
must be made. My art is not to be printed on clothing or other items through Cafepress or any
other textile printer in any form. No buttons, t-shirts, mugs, mousepads, posters....etc. I do not
upload high-resolution images for this reason.

Regarding coloring my sketches or lineart:
If you are interested in coloring my art, please contact me via e-mail or deviantart note for
permission. Please be sure to mention which artwork it is. Once permission is received, you may
edit the image. If you are going to remove my copyright, you must add a new one with
"art © Alicia Boros 2005" (or current year) in addition to "Colored by: <name>"
If you wish to upload any artwork of mine that you have colored, please contact me with a URL
link to the location. If I do not allow you to post my artwork, please respect my wishes and my
right as the owner of the art. By coloring my artwork, you agree to keep the image below an
Adult R rating and will not alter the image to become obscene.

Altering/Manipulating art:
I DO NOT permit this. This describes any type of modification outside of my hands including but
not restricted to erasing my copyright, erasing parts of the image to combine with another photo,
using a graphics program to add text, lyrics, prose or other wording onto the artwork, cropping
artwork for the use of icons for AIM, Yahoo, Deviantart, MSN, Livejournal....etc, creating
wallpapers of my artwork (without permission), altering or cropping my art for websites.
Do not combine my artwork into collages or presents for your partner or lover. This is
inappropriate use and I will ask that you remove any public display and delete the image.
Erasing my copyright does not nullify my ownership of the image.

Illegal use:
DO NOT use my artwork to represent your roleplaying characters. If a piece of art was not made
for you, do not steal it and use it for personal roleplaying purposes. Do not use my artwork for
dating profiles or yahoo profiles. All characters created by Alicia Boros are my property and are
not permitted to be used. If you need artwork of your character you may commission me or if
you're an artist we can do an art trade. Do not print out my artwork for the purpose of getting a
tattoo or selling the design for profit.

Hosting:
I ask that my artwork remains only on the websites that I upload it to.

If you wish to add my artwork to a website for the purposes of displaying furry artwork grouped by
artist, please contact me for permission. Chances are I will say yes, however free publicity is not
always the best. Do not upload my artwork into an MSN, Yahoo, Photobucket or similar album for
the purpose of storage or image linking. If you wish to host my artwork and permission is granted,
please send me a link to all locations my artwork is displayed so that I may link to your site from my
webpage. You must save my artwork to your own webspace or server. Do not link to any of my
images. This is bandwidth theft. If I decline a request to host my art, please respect my wishes and
rights as the owner of the artwork. Anyone found displaying my artwork without permission will be
asked to remove it promptly.

Misc:
If you wish to use my artwork for something that is not stated above, please contact me. I will judge
unique cases as they present themselves.

If the image you would like to use is a commission or joint copyrighted to another party, you must
obtain permission from the owner of the character in addition to my permission as owner of the
artwork. I will never release a high resolution file of any of my artwork for anyone's use. Please do
not ask. While I have no control over the saving of my artwork files, or the altering of them on
one's personal computer DO NOT upload these images to the internet or try to take credit for any
of them. If you fail to obtain permission as well as cite my name, Alicia Boros, Guyver47 or
Alicia Marie Boros as the owner of all artwork created by myself, you may not use it.

Gift/Fan art:
Permission is not necessary for anyone who wishes to draw fan art of Guyver47 or my assorted
characters. I ask only that the rating not exceed PG or PG-13. DO NOT draw porn of my
characters unless I have given you explicit approval and permission.
